The Culture, Fashion, and Society Notebook 2019

This edition of the Notebook is dedicated to multiplicity, sustainability and inclusion.The essays contained in the volume deal with these topics from different points of view ranging from gender representation to the globalisation of the fashion system, from the practices of the body to urban practices in relation to fashion and the relationship with the inhabitants of an increasingly complex and interconnected world. Different cultures compared, but also times and ways that intertwine in a complex network of references and stimuli. Never before has fashion been so political, or perhaps it has always been, but the current setting makes the social, anthropological and cultural reality of the fashion system increasingly explicit and rich in implications.
