Francesco Berni e la poesia bernesca

Erede indiscusso della tradizione comica quattrocentesca, Francesco Berni (1497-1535) è stato il più importante poeta burlesco del Cinquecento, in un periodo decisivo per la storia e la cultura italiana. A lui si deve l'invenzione di uno stile, presto imitato e chiamato "bernesco", che avrà ripercussioni sulla poesia comica fino al Settecento.
