Codex. Vol. 4, 2023

The journal is proposed as a place of research and open and democratic dialog, without borders and on a strictly scholarly basis, rejecting dogmatism and factions. Codex was born with a strong interdisciplinary vocation of the sciences of jurisprudence and antiquity, as evidenced by the subtitle Giornale romanistico di studi giuridici politici e sociali (Journal of legal, political and social studies of the ancient Roman world). Furhtermore, it seeks to overcome unsatisfactory definitions and artificial bureaucratic fences that arose in specific historical, political and cultural moments, whose intrinsic scientific weakness is now clearer than it was in the past.
