Le forme brevi di Natalia Ginzburg

"L'Ellisse" was founded with the aim of investigating Italian literature from its Origins to the 20th century, using the tools of textual philology and adopting a perspective attentive to historical evolution and socio-geographic contexts. Works of literature—in their genesis and construction on the author's desk, as well as through the stages of their reception—are at the center of the research, within a framework that considers philological analysis a fundamental moment in literary interpretation. Against this backdrop, essays conducted on manuscripts and authorial variants, on the effective and decisive stratification of sources within the body of texts, on the manuscript or printed tradition of the works, and on their impact on literary history are accompanied by research into previously unexplored territories and the publication of unpublished materials.
